Bhupinder Tomar gets appointed as the Group CEO at Shoogloo

Shoogloo, a Performance Digital Marketing Group, has got Bhupinder Tomar on board as its Group CEO, effective 1st February 2016. Capitalizing on over fifteen years of work experience in managing large multi-country operations in three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe, Bhupinder would now be driving Shoogloo’s operations. His current role in the company entails managing all day-to-day operations and decisions, implementing the company’s long and short term plans and guiding its strategic vision.

Commenting on his new role in the organization, Bhupinder Tomar said, “I am absolutely overwhelmed to have been asked to take on this role, and excited about the possibilities ahead. Shoogloo’s profound knowledge in digital marketing and its three distinct business areas are positioned very well to tap new opportunities during this age of technological disruption. I look forward to working with the entire team as we embark on this exciting journey."

Prior to making his entrepreneurial debut in India, Bhupinder’s most recent stint was with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as their Chief Operating Officer for Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. In the given role, he was responsible for management of eighteen offices across the continent with focus on strategy, program planning, staffing, leading, and controlling program quality. Through his diverse global experience over the years, Bhupinder has acquired a deep understanding of developing markets and opportunities they present for the new media businesses, something he leverages to establish Shoogloo at the forefront of the Marketing industry.

Currently living in Gurgaon, Haryana; Bhupinder has a distinguished educational background. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Osmania University, after which he completed his Master’s degree in Labour Law & Labour Welfare from the University of Pune. He acquired an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and finally concluded his formal education with an MSc in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science where he was a Chevening Scholar in social sciences.
