Big win for the &pictures #BurnTheBhedBhaav campaign at DIGIXX awards 2020

It’s raining gold and silver as &pictures – Naye India Ka Blockbuster, proved its creative mettle at the recently concluded DIGIXX Awards 2020 by scoring big. The channel swept away 2 Gold and 1 Silver metal across categories for their thought-provoking campaign ‘#BurnTheBhedBhaav’ done for the World Television Premiere ‘Article 15’.

Driven by the insight that ‘Discrimination isn’t always a consciously performed act’, &pictures took the opportunity to make people aware of the discrimination happening in our day to day lives. Keeping the Diwali symbolism where light takes over darkness, #BurnTheBhedBhaav movement was launched to spread the message of inclusiveness through a series of short impactful stories developed in FB’s unique Thumbstopper format, starkly visual posts, a digital innovation and a compelling trade activation urging people to burn the bhed baav. Amplifying the momentum was lead cast members Sayani Gupta and director Anubhav Sinha who not only urged viewers to pledge against discrimination on social media but also interacted with impressionable minds at Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram.
