BIGG BOSS 4 opening surpasses BIGG BOSS 3, 2 & 1: TAM

This is phenomenal when compared to the opening ratings of Bigg Boss 3. The Last season of BIGG BOSS Season 3 with Host Amitabh Bachchan had a TVR of 5.4 and Time Spent of 47 minutes. Last year, even after having Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan anchoring the third season of reality show Bigg Boss on Colors, data from aMap, the overnight ratings agency, showed that the launch episode aired on October 4 generated an average television rating point (TRP) of just 3.

Salman Khan seems to have a better connect with the audience and is able to relate to them at a greater level, which is evident from the TVR. More than Amitabh Bachchan, Khan is able to work his charm on the masses. This is also because, unlike Bachchan, Khan has a mass appeal and can connect with the common man. There was a lot of media frenzy created and Bigg Boss 4 was marketed at a large scale, Khan proved to everyone's expectations and has delivered more than what was expected out of him. Now as the season continues, Khan will go on to break many more records with his magic.

Oye Lucky Lucky Oye's real Bunty Chor aka Davinder Singh who was also part of this list got evicted on Day 1.
