Bodhitree Multimedia to open M&E hub in Mumbai

Bodhitree Multimedia Ltd, the content production company best known for the Netflix original Class, plans to invest 500 crore in the first of two phases to establish a media and entertainment (M&E) centre in Thane, close to Mumbai.
This facility will provide shooting spaces, post-production equipment, training centres, and prospects for tourists in the nation's expanding M&E sector.
Mautik Tolia, director, Bodhitree Multimedia Ltd, said: “With the boom in media and entertainment in the country, especially since the advent of OTT platforms, there has been a huge infrastructural challenge to carrying out high-end shoots in Mumbai. To produce cutting-edge content, there is a need for both physical and human infrastructure."
