Bombay HC grants bail plea to Partho Dasgupta

Former Broadcast Audience Research Council India, CEO, Partho Dasgupta has been granted bail by Bombay High Court at a personal recognizance bond of Rs 2 lakhs. Dasgupta approached Bombay HC after his bail plea was rejected by a sessions court last month.

Dasgupta was arrested in December 2020 relating to the TRP scam investigation. He was the 15th person to be arrested and sought bail on the grounds that others who were arrested have been granted bail.
