Bosch India releases its first ever dishwasher campaign

Bosch India has launched a new digital video/campaign titled ‘Indian Kitchen ka Dishwasher’ to educate consumers and bust common myths about dishwasher usage and highlight how they can be used in the most efficient way. The campaign is already live across platforms like Google Display Network and social media channels like Facebook and Instagram. The campaign is set to go live across OTT channels like YouTube and Hotstar in September 2020.

One of the bigger myths/assumptions in the consumer’s mind is that dishwashers are not suitable for Indian kitchens, Indian utensils and Indian cooking habits. The campaign is aimed to address and mitigate myths and assumptions regarding dishwashers and how the product is suited for Indian kitchens and vessels.

A series of films have been developed to highlight the benefits of dishwashers in daily lives. One of digital videos will see a mother-in-law washing stained dishes and the daughter-in-law highlights the stain removal in a dishwasher, in another video a couple uses a sanitized feeding bottle from a dishwasher reinforcing the hygiene aspects.

On the launch of the campaign, Neeraj Bahl, MD & CEO, BSH Home Appliances said, “We are thrilled to launch our first ever dishwasher campaign to showcase the Bosch range of dishwashers which gives consumers access to hygienic dishes while assuring convenience. We are world’s no.1 Dishwasher brand, before the lockdown, the dishwasher category in India was at a nascent stage but the heightened need for personal hygiene and convenience as an outcome of COVID-19, has accelerated awareness and demand for this product segment giving aspirational customers an opportunity to live a hassle-free lifestyle. We are excited about the vast possibilities for dishwashers in India and believe in the coming times we see it gradually featuring in their ‘top appliances to buy’ list.”

Bosch Dishwashers uses water at upto 70 degree Celsius ensuring 99% germ-free utensils making the wash more hygienic and precise. It also uses up to 85% less water and saving about 1200 litres of water per year, as compared to hand washing making dishwashers a compelling alternative amidst rising water crisis.
