Brand campaigns bring equal share of tears and cheers this Diwali

Every festive season sees a surfeit of brand campaigns and this year has been no different. After being forced to stay indoors and cut off from friends and families last festive season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year has been about homecomings and get-togethers.

And it is this emotional connect that is seen reflected in ad campaign after ad campaign – coming back to one’s near and dear ones, celebrating the festivities together, community camaraderie and reclaiming one’s life after some very tough times. The brand campaigns have been high on emotions, while also spreading a lot of festive cheer.
