Brand Moments 2021: Parents Day

25th July is recognised as Parent’s Day. The theme for this year is ‘Appreciate all parents throughout the world’ to acknowledge Parents’ worth & affection and to value the sacrifices they make for their children. Parents, undoubtedly provide an environment for the development of a child’s personality. 

Parents play a key role in cultivating and protecting family bonds. But, building strong family connections doesn't always happen naturally. In our hectic day-to-day lives, it can take a concerted effort to carve out time for your family. However, lockdown gave us the opportunity to spend time with family and many parents ensured that this happens.

According to the insights from ‘Little Things We do’ research by Godrej showcase:

  • 27.35% of respondents kept themselves happy/content during the lockdown by spending time with their families
  • 36.02% of respondents were spending more time with family because of the absence of long commutes
  • 46.42% of respondents remained connected with friends and family through social media
  • More than half (51%) of the respondents between the age of 35-44 remained connected with friends and family through social media
  • 31.75% of male respondents kept themselves happy/content during the lockdown by spending time with their families
  • 32.75% of respondents above the age of 45 kept themselves happy/content during the lockdown by spending time with their families
