Every year Friendship Day is observed on the first Sunday of August. The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed on 20 July 1958 by Dr. Ramon Artemio Bracho.

Friendship day is to celebrate and cherish beautiful moments spent with friends and to relive those moments by thanking and wishing each other
