BREAKING NOW | Sunil Lulla quits BCCL!

Ever since Sunil Lulla took over the new role of President - Corporate Development at Bennett & Coleman Co Ltd, The Times Group, there had been speculations in the industry that Sunil Lulla will make a move soon. Putting all the rumours aside, Sunill Lulla silently bids adieu to BCCL.

Lulla, recently took charge of President - Corporate Development, Bennett & Coleman Co Ltd, The Times Group where he was responsible for developing strategy and growth for its 

music, events, digital and internet businesses. Prior to which he was, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Times Television Network.  In his 26 years of experience he has worked with media, entertainment, technology and television broadcast industries.

Lulla has enriched himself with extensive experience in building brands and businesses. Sunil was member of the team, which helped turned around Sa Re Ga Ma (HMV) from the Red to the Black in India. He kick - started and built MTV to a # 1 position in India. At SONY, with successful programming he re-built the channel to a strong # 2 GEC. He started up indya.com, subsequently acquired by News Corp/ STAR.

He helped start, shape and develop the Times Television Network (owned by the Times Group) which comprises of successful and leading TV channels: ET NOW, MOVIES NOW, ROMEDY NOW, TIMES NOW and ZoOm. Its TV channels are present in over 70 countries.

This is not the first time that any high profile professional is making an exit from TTN. Earlier this year Times Now, ET Now and Zoom CEO, Avinash Kaul and TTN English Entertainment Channels CEO Ajay Trigunayat had chosen to part ways with the group.
