Brightstar India appoints Ankur Agrawal as its new CFO

Brightstar Corp, a subsidiary of Softbank Group Corp. and the world’s leading mobile services company for managing devices and accessories across the wireless ecosystem appoints Ankur Agrawal as the Chief Financial Officer for Brightstar India.

Ankur brings with him a wealth of experience from across key sectors, with an enviable industry reputation for helping businesses increase efficiencies, drive sustainable growth strategies, and build their presence across B2B and B2C markets. He has been involved in core operations, business & strategic finance, turnarounds and acquisitions. In a career spanning over more than 20 years, Agrawal has led Indian & International Businesses with 13 years of tenure at Jindal Stainless followed by GFG Alliance India and Livguard Energy, being his last stint.

An engineer graduate from IIT Kharagpur with MBA from ISB Hyderabad, Ankur, throughout his career, has benchmarked a trajectory of growth, maximizing overall revenue for brands and identifying new business opportunities.

Brightstar India which owns the Beetel brand is foraying into the $2 billion Mobile Accessories market in India through Flix Accessories powered by Beetel. With the appointment of Ankur Agrawal, Brightstar India has further strengthened its Leadership Team. Shortly after its plans to enter Indian Mobile Accessories Market, Flix has also appointed Puneet Gupta, as its Business Head for India. The new appointments are in sync with the Company’s expansion and growth plans for the Indian Markets.
