Brijesh Menon joins Amara Raja Group as Head Corporate Communications
Brijesh brings with him 25 years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, and Brand & Corporate Communications, having worked across industries and geographies. Brijesh started his career as an Account Executive at Pratibha Advertising/ Quadrant Communications, then joined Advertising Agencies (PSL McCann, iB&W Communications) in the Client Servicing department. He was also the Product Manager at Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd and owner of K-Express International. He was the Partner of Lighthouse Communications and Manager – Brand & Communications of Patni Computer Systems Ltd. For four years, he was the DGM & Head – Corporate Communications of Bharat Bijlee Ltd. He was with Yokohama Off-Highway Tires for five years, as the General Manager – Global Marketing & Communications and as the AVP & Head Brand & Marketing APAC. He was also the Head of Corporate Communications at the Chowgule Group. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
With 16,000 employees, the $ 1.3 billion Amara Raja Group is amongst the biggest manufacturers of automotive and industrial batteries. They also are leading players in their segments of auto components, infrastructure, electronics, and power systems. At the group, Brijesh's role includes external and internal communications, PR, and brand communications. He will be based out of their corporate office in Hyderabad.
