Budget 2022-23: PM E-Vidya initiative to be expanded to 400 channels

Delivering her Budget 2022-23 speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that 1-Class-1-TV Channel will be implemented to provide supplementary education to children to make up for loss of formal education due to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the PM E-Vidya initiative.

The Finance Minister stated that the PM E-Vidya initiative will now be expanded to 400 channels.
