Bumble appoints Samarpita Samaddar PR Director for India

Dating app, Bumble has ropes Samarpita Samaddar as PR Director for India. Based out of Mumbai, she will lead the brands' communication strategy and PR led campaigns in coordination with the global communications team.

Samaddar was previously the PR lead at Zee Studios and helped establish the brand as one of India's leading film studios. She has over a decade of experience in building brands across several sectors including entertainment, the arts, lifestyle, sports, among others. She is closely associated with the India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), where she has helped carve a space for artists, researchers, scholars in Indian mainstream media.

She has been part of several award-winning film campaigns in various languages including 'Khaali Peeli', 'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari', 'Dhadak', 'Aligarh', 'Newton' (India's official entry to Oscars in 2016), 'Hotel Mumbai', 'Article 15', 'Nil Battey Sannata', 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Good Newwz', and ;Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi' to name a few.
