Cannes Lions 2019: 6 categories, 23 shortlists; Dentsu Webchutney leads tally
Cannes Lions 2019 announced shortlists for the categories, Digital Craft, Creative Data, Creative Strategy, Direct, Media, PR and Social and Influencer Lions today. Except for Digital Craft category Indian work was shortlisted in each of the 6 categories. Dentsu Webchutney Bangalore was leading the way with 10 shortlists, followed by Mindshare Mumbai (4 shortlists), Lowe Lintas (3 shortlists), Grey India (2 shortlists), Leo Burnett (2 shortlists), Ogilvy Mumbai (1 shortlist) and Cheil India Gurgaon (1 shortlist).
Creative Data Lions
Mindshare Mumbai had 2 shortlists for their work The Infection Alert System for Lifebuoy Soap under the sub category data driven targeting and data integration.
Creative Strategy Lions
Lowe Lintas saw their work #HelpAChildReach5 for Hindustan Unilever’s Lifebuoy Soap shortlisted under the sub category long term strategy.
The second edition of the India Vicks Touch of Care has been shortlisted under Brand Strategy and Healthcare subcategories. This film is the fourth instalment of Vicks’ regional Touch of Care campaign and has been conceptualised and scripted by Publicis Singapore. Two films each have been created for India and the Philippines as part of the campaign.
