Cannes Lions 2022 Day 3: India bags 10 more Lions

The Indian advertising industry is having a roaring time at the Cannes Lions 2022. In the three days of the advertising festival, India has been taking home Lions across categories on each day.

Day 3 brought a bonanza for Indian agencies – 1 Grand Prix, 2 Golds, 5 Silvers, and 2 Bronzes. The wins are across Brand Experience & Activation, Creative Business Transformation, Creative Commerce, Innovation, Mobile (1 Silver), and Creative Effectiveness Lions (1 Bronze).

Dentsu Creative has bagged its second Grand Prix for the much applauded campaign – ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ – done for Vice Media, in Brand Experience & Activation Lions under the Use of Mobiles & Devices sub-category. This campaign also secured a Silver in Brand Experience & Activation Lions under the New Realities & Voice Activation sub-category.

The 2 Gold wins on Day 3 were by VMLY&R Commerce for its campaign ‘Smart Fill’ done for Unilever, and the ‘Shagun Ka Lifafa’ campaign done by McCann India for Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. Both wins came in Creative Commerce Lions.
