Carnival Cinemas celebrates 10 years of Movie Magic

Carnival Cinemas, one of the India’s largest multiplex chain founded by Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, celebrates the successful completion of a decade in entertaining its patrons with its best in-class cinema content. With over 450 screens in 150 cities, it offers a unique movie viewing experience that is perfect for the movie lover. It has a clear vision to reach 1000 screens, and is always innovating to make sure that the customers have the best possible experience.

Carnival Cinemas was the first to start its first multiplex in Angamaly, Kerala in the year 2012. In 2014, Carnival Cinemas acquired Broadway cinemas with 34 screens. In 2015, it acquired Big Cinemas and Glitz cinemas with 278 screens. In 2016, Carnival went international and opened its first cinema in Singapore & also became the first Indian origin exhibitor with international presence. In 2018, it took over the operations of Maharashtra based E-square Cinemas with 14 Screens. Carnival Cinemas scaled up high in FY20 and achieved the highest footfalls, revenue and EBITA figures. These iconic milestones reminds that it has come long way, and that it has been consistently working towards achieving its goals. The journey emphasizes Carnival Cinemas' long-term commitment to excellence and its unwavering focus on the consumer experience.
