CARS24 Founders went from Boardroom to ‘On the Ground’ Delivering Cars

In order to understand their customers better and get to know them in person, Founders of CARS24 Gajendra Jangid and Ruchit Agarwal have been delivering the cars themselves. These founders were seen spending time with customers as a way to stay abreast of the market and stay connected with their customers’ needs, while also celebrating the grand occasion of their seventh anniversary.

CARS24 customers were in for a surprise, that too a pleasant one as they discovered that the people on the wheels of the CARS24 branded delivery truck were none other than the company’s founders. This consumer immersion program brought customers into personal contact with the founders.

This is not the first time the brand’s founders interacted with the customers directly. CARS24’s  first retail branch was opened in Golf Course Extension Road, Gurgaon in August 2015. While the company had staff at the branch to interact with customers, the founders also took turns to work at the branch and directly engage their customers. To top it up, they all wore CARS24 uniforms and pretended like retail associates as they continued to keep their customers front and center.

CARS24 Head of Brand, Nida Nausha comments:

“Typically, the founders do not see customers and the best learning happens when you speak to your customer one on one and I think this gives us enormous learning about our customers. We have done this in the past and it was a telltale sign to us that we should continue doing this. Hence, on the occasion of our 7th anniversary, we thought why shouldn’t our founders interact with the customers and focus on what customers say, feel, want, and need and rediscover their entrepreneurial roots. As a brand, we will always lead the charge for greater customer centricity. Hum Saat Saath Hain!

The joyous moments have been beautifully captured in a film that was shared across social media handles (LinkedIN, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram) of CARS24. The ‘happiness’ of the video is a result of the brand’s commitment to provide its customers with a seamless buying experience while also organizing the Indian pre-owned car industry.
