Cartoon Network supports Mumbai Traffic Police’s Annual Road Safety Patrol Rally

As a part of the recently launched #BacchePoliceBulayenge campaign, city’s largest child safety and security awareness programme, Cartoon Network showed its support for Mumbai Traffic Police’s annual Road Safety Patrol rally held on January 18, 2018 at the Naigaon Police grounds.

Kids’ favourite Cartoon Network toons Kris from Roll No. 21, Ben 10 & the Powerpuff Girls came together to spread social awareness about road safety rules and regulations through their fun performances, to approximately 1500 children from across city schools, Present at the event were Shri. Datta Padsalgikar - Commissioner of Police, Mumbai along with Shri. Amitesh Kumar,Jt. Commissioner of Police –Traffic, Mumbai who spoke about the importance of road safety for kids.

The excitement in the atmosphere was palpable, as the toons gave a lively and entertaining performance, while engaging with the kids and sharing road safety tips. The event reinforced Cartoon Network’s commitment to creating awareness and building a safer environment for kids, an extension of its enduring promise to deliver responsible content which is entertaining and safe for its little fans.

This commitment further manifested as an encouraging partnership with the Mumbai Police, called #BachchePoliceBulayenge. As a part of the campaign launch, two videos highlighting traffic rules & regulations and stranger safety were unveiled on Children’s Day in 2017. The campaign includes a five-part video series featuring Cartoon Network’s popular characters, aimed at instilling the habit of approaching the police in case of an emergency and how can kids combat them together.
