Celebrate bonds of happiness with Coke Studio @MTV Season 4!

The sixth episode of Coke Studio@MTV Season 4 will see versatile virtuosos creating magic together on the 4th of October 2015. At the outset the father-daughter duo of Sharmilee & Babul Supriyo will be singing ‘I Wanna Fly’ to the lyrics penned by the legendary Javed Akhtar and smartly composed by the happening hit maker Anupam Roy. The tracks contemporary music and tune accentuates the dreams and finds emotions that a daughter shares with her father and is dedicated towards celebrating United Nation's 'International Day of the Girl Child' that is earmarked for the 11th of October every year.

The musical notes are surreal when Babul Supriyo lends his voice to a unique rendition - ‘Jhelum Naina’ - a mellifluous song crafted by poetic mastermind Prasoon Joshi and put together by the acclaimed Jeet Gannguli. Jhelum Naina is a song that explores the depths of the eyes as they convey so much without saying anything.
‘Moner Manush’ - a traditional Bengali folk song originally written and composed by the illustrious Lalon Fakir, finds its way recreated and contemporized by Anupam Roy. It is joined by the enduring vocals of Satyaki Banerjee in Bengali and Babul Supriyo in Hindi that is interpreted by none other than Javed Akhtar. Moner Manush is all about separation of two lovers and their impatience to unite.
