Celebrate the festive fervour of Durga Pujo with Tanishq
A festival very close to every Bengali heart, Durga Pujo is one of the biggest communal celebrations in India. The pompous festival is marked by a five day long celebration, filling every Bengali heart with joy as they countdown to the next Pujo. Tanishq’s latest film (conceptualized by Lowe Lintas)for their festive collection ‘Aagomoni’ captures the true essence of this exotic festival. An ode to the most anticipated festival of the year, this film depicts what the occasion really means to people.
Tanishq celebrates love through the story of a woman who is organizing Pujo for the very first time. While she is anxious about how she will handle all the responsibilities, her father is concerned about his daughter’s smile. Her mind is caught up with work but he reminds her of what’s more important. By handing her a stunning pair of Tanishq bangles, he brings a smile back to her face. The film makes Tanishq a part of the biggest celebration ever, the celebration of love.
Speaking about the campaign, Ms. Deepika Sabharwal Tewari, Associate Vice President – Marketing, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited, said, “Pujo is one of the most revered festivals for Bengalis and to mark this celebration, we at Tanishq, have launched the special Aagomoni collection. We believe that the beautiful designs from this collection make it a must have for Pujo. The Aagomoni collection has a special piece for each of the five days leading up to the main Pujo. With this collection, we encourage our Bengali customers to celebrate Pujo by indulging in exquisite jewellery from Tanishq. Jewellery that is crafted with the purest gold and that offers you superior designs.”
Rajesh Ramaswamy, Executive Director, Lowe Lintas adds, “We were aware that the ad is going to be playing on the days leading up to Pujo, and so we wanted to make a film that resonated with people's anticipation. Highlighting the madness that goes on behind preparing for Pujo, we tried to recreate the joy that the festival brings them.”
