Celebrate Women with Star World Premiere HD!

In a bid to celebrate women, out in the real world, India’s leading English Entertainment channel, on the occasion of International Women’s Day is all set to run a marathon of one of the most critically acclaimed new age television sitcoms of 2016 – Better Things all day from 11 AM onwards.

Helmed by renowned comedian Louie C.K., the series stars Pamela Adlon in the role of a single mother who tries to balance her family life, her work and in all this tries to find some time for her own personal life. Her journey embodies the lives of women around the world who take up various responsibilities and juggle with the chaos that comes with it on a daily basis.

 

Her representation of a woman who is constantly battling between being a mother, a career woman, a friend, a daughter and juggling her personal life along with it, while also throwing in some laughs amidst all the hilarities that life throws at her calls for the ultimate celebration of the everyday woman in our lives!

 

In the role of a true blue woman, Pamela as Sam Fox on the series plays a divorced actress who is embarking on a new life’s journey as she navigates through situations trying to earn a living, raising three daughters all by herself while also having fun with a friend or two and maybe squeezing in some private time once in a while. The show is modeled after Adlon’s own reality-show-ready experience raising three girls in Los Angeles following a divorce.
