Cheil Worldwide SW Asia appoints Ankur Bose as VP - BTL

Cheil Worldwide SW Asia announced the appointment of Ankur Bose as Vice President - BTL. Bose will be working closely with Alok Agrawal, COO, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia. Bose's appointment is in sync with Cheil's plan to build a strong integrated team that will foster the philosophy of Idea Engineering. Idea Engineering challenges the traditional paradigm of mindshare and is instead focussed on building Lifeshare (TM) for brands. Consumer experience and engagement is a crucial aspect of Cheil's working and Bose will lead the agency effort in these areas.

For one who probably would have spent a life with automobiles and machines, Ankur, with a career spanning 14 years, began his working life in 1997 designing exhibitions and writing copy, at JWT (HTA) where he won his first accolade for designing the India Pavilion for the World Expo 2000, Hanover, Germany. Soon after, he joined Lintas as Business Head of their Events Division.

In 2006, having spent 4 years at Lintas, Ankur moved to Ogilvy Activation to head their rural business in Delhi, where, in a span of two years he became Vice-President & Business Director. He took on responsibility as National In-Charge of Operations, OgilvyAction where he lead a team across 12 State Offices, 6 Full Service Offices and 285 members for Retail, Live & Outreach.

Ankur's has worked with a multitude of clients, including Unilever, Vodafone, Dabur, Castrol, Dupont, Motorola, India Post, ICICI, Lafarge, Coca Cola, Berger Paints, ITC, Orissa Tourism, Peerless, Tata Indicom, Mother Dairy, UNICEF, amongst others.
