Chennai Express on Zee TV records 19,541 TVT

This Diwali, Zee TV sky-rockets past competition with Chennai Express turning out to be a sutli bomb with 19541 TVT and the premiere of DID Season 4 lighting up diyas with 6075 TVT. This has propelled the channel to the No.1 position with 505442 GVTs.

The blockbuster starring Shah Rukh and Deepika Pudokone, Chennai Express has not only broken all box office collections at its theatrical release but has also broken all movie television premiere records across GECs on Indian Television and become the biggest grosser in terms of ratings (data below). The movie was televised on Zee TV on 20th October at 8pm.  An elated SRK tweeted this morning– Heard Chennai Express was hugely watched on ZEE TV. Another feather in Rohit Shetty & teams’ cap. Don’t u EVER under estimate etc etc..

The channel’s flagship property and the nation’s favourite reality show, Dance India Dance Season 4 premiered on 26th October at 9PM and fetched 6075 TVTs. Keeping the core format intact, the show introduced three new judges this season, Mudassar Khan, Shruti Merchant and Feroz Khan. This season, it also went one step further and created a movement of dance across the country by showing audiences how to channelize their energies positively through dance by sending out a strong message to its viewers – “Dance It Out!” Apart from the above, the channel also had a new fiction launch, Bh Se Bhade which fetched 2856 TVTs.
