Chinese App ban: Meity bans another 43 Chinese apps

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) has issued an order banning access to another 43 apps. The Government of India has taken this decision in view of the detailed security reports submitted by India Cyber Crime Coordination Center, Ministry of Home Affairs believing that these apps threaten the sovereignty and integrity of the country.

The banned apps include those from Ali Express stable and Lalamove India among others.
