Choreography is inherent in me: Farah Khan

Choreographer turned filmmaker and  now lead actress of 'Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ is of late seen on television making everyone dance to her tunes! Yes, Farah Khan has taken charge to make everyone dance to her signature steps that she has choreographed for this season of the IPL.

Speaking  about her interest in  cricket she said, “ Personally I am not a big fan of cricket but yes  I am happy to be a part of IPL campaigns as this is one of the most followed tournament in India having a million audience.”

She initially felt that she was a  weird choice  for this campaign but eventually everything fell into place and it has worked out well .

Whenever Farah Khan has choreographed a dance sequence it has never failed to  become popular with her fans. Elaborating further with regard to this she said, “Anything that you want to make popular should be simple and acceptable to a level, otherwise no one will follow it. Through my years of choreography I always tried to keep signature steps, and they became popular may it be Fevicol se or Munni Badnam.”

She added, “I always feel that my work consists of a sense of humour, a story which goes well with the music and yes the aesthetics involved in my work is inherent.”

Looking forward to year 2013, she is presently occupied and busy casting actors for her forthcoming film which she plans to start shooting by this June.
