City of Hope ropes in Gulden Mesara as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer

Gulden Mesara joins City of Hope as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. She announced her joining in a post on linkedin that said, "I have exciting news to share! I have joined City of Hope as CCMO and will start in mid-September. This photo was taken in front of Golter Gate and captures City of Hope's credo: 'There is no profit in curing the body if in the process we destroy the soul'." 

Starting from 15th September, Gulden will lead the cancer and diabetes research and treatment center’s communications strategy and marketing efforts, furthering the organization’s mission of transforming healthcare. She will work closely with City of Hope administrative leaders and faculty to increase engagement among current and potential patients, physicians, researchers, donors, industry partners and the general public.

Adding further on the Linkedin post she said, "To me, there is nothing more gratifying than working in healthcare to deliver innovations that change the experience and future for patients and their families. City of Hope’s mission of transforming the future of health through industry-leading care and scientific research focused on cancer and diabetes resonates with me on a very personal level. Earlier Mesara has worked with companies like Walgreens Boots Alliance, Abbvie, Abbott Labs, Pfizer, Ketchum and Noonan/ Russo Communicaions.
