Club Penguin empowers students to bring about Real Change!

Club Penguin (clubpenguin.com) the # 1 virtual world for kids launched its ‘Coins For Change’ program in India today. Ryan International School has associated with Coins for Change in India and their students launched the program along with Ramabai BMC School students to mark the takeoff of the initiative. The excited students interacted with each other through various activities like planting saplings and redecorating the verandah of the Ramabai BMC School.

Coins For Change, is an annual initiative that inspires kids from around the world to make a difference in the real world. Every year during the Coins For Change initiative, Club Penguin players donate billions of virtual coins to help change the world! Players can choose causes that are important to them, and their virtual donations help direct how a cash donation is shared in the real world. These causes include: Providing Medical Help, Protecting the Environment and Building Safe Places. Since 2007, more than $8 M has been given to projects that have helped in excess of a million people in more than 40 countries by funding schools, libraries, health clinics, clean water programs and more.
