Clubhouse claims to have gained 10 million users since mid-May

Rapid changes has been observed in active rooms of clubhouse , while it announced some changes to its club roles and notification volume.

Firstly, at its weekly Town Hall update , it announced that it’s facilitating 600,000 rooms per day , up from 300,000 back in may. The arrival of Twitter Spaces, as well as the lack of Clubhouse accessibility, with the app still only available on iOS and in invite-only mode, caused a significant slowdown in Clubhouse downloads between March and May.

Clubhouse claims to have gained 10 million users since mid-May considering its launch in android, a significant increase over the 2 million subscribers it announced in January.

The app is growing in India, where android users are more than Os.
Clubhouse is simplifying things by eliminating club “Followers,” so there is a single relationship you can have to a club “Membership”.
Secondly, they are creating a new role called “Leaders” to help club add means make their clubs successful.

All newly created clubs will have these features by default. Existing clubs will get these features, clubs that don’t allow followers today will remain mostly unchanged and clubs that have followers today, and do not allow members to create rooms will have their followers automatically converted into members and Clubs that have followers today and do allow members to create rooms will get to decide whether to let anyone join as a member, or to individually approve people as members.
