CNX Exit Poll on NewsX Puts the Grand Alliance in Lead in Bihar Election 2015

After weeks of campaigning, the Bihar elections have finally reached their conclusion. As the last phase of one of the most anticipated state elections gets over today, NewsX presented CNX Exit Poll with over 12,000 voters surveyed across 243 constituencies and over 1900 polling booths.

The CNX Exit Polls clearly puts the Nitish Kumar- Lalu Yadav led Grand Alliance in the lead with 130-140 seats and giving BJP+ a projection of 90-100 seats. According to the exit poll, while the Grand Alliance has a vote share of 42%, Prime Minister Modi led NDA is second with 39% seat share.

The Exit Poll also predicts the seat break up for both the major parties in the state. According to the Poll, BJP is expected to win around 90 seats and JDU and RJD will register a win at 68 and 52 seats respectively and Congress will get 15 seats under its belt.
