Colors Bangla launches a male-centric story Ram Krishnaa

Most of the time the small screen industry is dominated by very strong female characters.  Male characters generally complement the female characters. Breaking the clutter; Colors Bangla presents the story of Ram in our upcoming show Ram Krishnaa Special Partner Dear Lottery and Rumpa Jewellery. Ram is a kind-hearted, true family man and remains everyone’s favourite. Produced by Surinder Films the show is about the invincible spirit of Ram and his strong principles in life which leads the path for him. Ram Krishnaa will premiere on 10th April and will air every day at 8 pm only on Colors Bangla. Krishnaa is a flamboyant, arrogant, and ambitious girl who gets embroiled in a clash with Ram.

What will happen when Ram’s fate clashes with the rich, arrogant, and beautiful Krishnaa?

Speaking on the launch Sagnik Ghosh, Business Head, Colors Bangla, said “Male actors or characters these days hold a very important and significant position in the storyline. Taking forth this tradition we bring to you a powerful male character Ram who is a traditional priest yet a modern man at heart. He binds the family together with his charm. The narrative of the show is very different and is about this man who is honest at heart and has an indomitable spirit. The story revolves around Ram who hails from a family of priest and has just graduated as a priest himself.  Ram has always stood first in everything he does and is everyone’s favourite. He is a family-oriented person and considers his family as his biggest asset in life. He performs a puja at Krishnaa’s place and unknowingly changes the course of Krishna’s life. As their world collides Krishnaa is determined to take revenge against Ram but Ram being a simple, kind-hearted person comes out of the challenges that are thrown at him. Nilankur Mukhopadhyay plays the role of this dutiful Ram and Basanta Bilash famed Nandini Dutta plays the role of Krishnaa. Other ensemble cast includes Arindam Banerjee, Ritoja Chakraborty, Sumana Chakraborty, Tanima Sen, Aninda Chakraborty, Anindita Kapileshwari, Sanjukta Roy Chowdhury to name a few.

To promote these story, Colors Bangla has designed a robust marketing campaign across print, television, and digital platforms.

On the digital front, a social media calendar will be built to establish Ram’s character as #AmaderHero. There will also be a FB live engagement with Ram and Krishnaa where they will be asked a few rapid-fire questions on their perspective towards life, their preferences, etc.
