However life presents him with a second chance to redeem himself all over again and win his lost glory. This story of hope and second chance is sure to inspire many lives and set an example. In the past, we have shown thick friendships, love relationships and now with Parichay, viewers will get to see brother bonding and deep inter- personal relations on television."

Speaking about the show, Ekta Kapoor says, "I draw my inspiration from the society and the everyday life people I interact with. I meet a mix of people - heroes and fallen heroes daily. Being from the industry, I have seen many life changing stories of some who could never figure out why they failed and some who couldn't even find a launch pad. Failure is personal but it is also powerful. It could either make or break a person. What is important is to keep the hope of a better future alive and that is exactly what Parichay is all about. Samir Soni is the perfect fit for Kunal, a character you want to know about."

Protagonist Kunal Chopra essayed by Samir Soni says, "My hiatus on small screen comes to an end with Kunal Chopra. There are very few male centric roles on television today and none of them are so powerful. Kunal is a very complex character who has lost everything in life and has more or less accepted defeat. Working with Balaji and Ekta has been a blast and her insight into the life of a struggler. I am positive that the audiences will feel for him and also relate to him in different ways."

Parichay - Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka presents an ensemble cast with Samir Soni essaying the protagonist Kunal Chopra along with other talented actors like Vivek Mishra (Father), Alka Amin (Mother), Aarti Singh (Sister-in-law), Ayaz Khan (Elder brother), Saurabh Jain (Younger brother) and Prerna Wanvari (Younger sister) as the Chopras. Essaying a pivotal role as Siddhi Malik will be Ekta's new find ' Kirti Nagpure, a fun-loving and well-cultured lawyer.
