Colors Tamil launches an impactful social drama - Bommi B.A, B.L.

Colors Tamil, Tamil Nadu’s youngest GEC admired for its alluring line-up of women-centric narratives, is all set to launch yet another enthralling show - Bommi B.A, B.L. Starting 3rd May 2021, Bommi B.A, B.L will air at 6:30 PM from Monday to Saturday on Colors Tamil.

Set in pre-independence Calcutta, Bommi B.A., B.L. traces the journey of 8-year-old Bommi (played by Aura Bhatnagar) who is married off to a 60-year-old man. But as fate would have it, her life takes a sudden tragic turn. While she becomes prey to social injustice, fate leads her to her husband Anirudh, a London-return Barrister who wishes to liberalize women and unstrap them from cultural stereotypes. As her husband, Anirudh helps Bommi to get out of this gloomy tradition of social discrimination. This leads them to embark on a journey together where Bommi goes on to become a Barrister and challenges the system with her tough and thought-provoking arguments.
