Comedy Central India leads Indian charge at Promax Awards in LA

Comedy Central India took home 13 awards at the prestigious PromaxBDA World Awards 2013 that were held last evening at Los Angeles. The channel swept the board with a final tally of 7 Gold, 1 Bronze and 5 Silver awards in categories such as General Channel Image Spot, Comedy Program Spot, Entertainment Program Campaign, Funniest Promo, Copywriting amongst many others. Comedy Central India was the only channel in India to receive 17 nominations at the most prominent and noted award function in the broadcast media industry in the world.

In the last year, the channel has received many accolades by sweeping 8 awards at Promax Singapore 2012 and 8 awards at Promax India 2013. These awards have eminent members of the industry as part of the jury panel and getting applaud by them is a matter of great pride and honour for a channel that has just borne the seeds of laughing it off for its audience.
