Contract appoints Rahul Ghosh as VP & Sr Creative Director

Contract Advertising has appointed Rahul Ghosh as Vice President and Senior Creative Director at its Mumbai office.

Rahul, who joins in from TBWA, Mumbai, was the Group Creative Director for close to 7 years where he has worked on brands across verticals such as Bajaj Allianz, Sony MAX, Nissan, Standard Chartered Bank and Air India to name a few.

“Rahul and I had a short but glorious run together back at Euro RSCG, Delhi, in the early 2000’s. We won some big accounts, few metals, and had a whale of a time while at it. He has grown into a leadership role since then, and created a solid body of work along the way, including my favourite ‘Manu-Ranjan ka baap’ commercial for SET Max. So I am delighted to have him on board”, says Ashish Chakravarty, NCD, Contract Advertising on Rahul’s appointment.
This is Rahul’s second stint at Contract, who comes in with an experience of 17 years. Previously he has worked with Euro RSCG, Delhi and Mudra, Mumbai. A celebrated and awarded creative, he has won four Abbys, a Cannes Lions Design Bronze and an Effie for his work on Godrej Real Good Chicken, Sony Max, Marvel Realtors and Adidas. In his new role, Rahul will be leading a creative team and will be reporting to Kapil Mishra.

“Contract is going through an exciting phase---a new belief, a new team and a new buzz. There is a place where it wants to be and getting to bat in a line-up led by Ashish Chakravarty was an offer that was difficult to refuse”, says Rahul on his joining Contract”, says Rahul on his joining Contract.
