Create your own oasis with India's finest interior décor maestros, Obeetee

To communicate this beautiful aspect to the masses, OBEETEE has joined hands with renowned interiors designers and come up with the Create Your Own Oasis series. 

In January 2022, OBEETEE launched its Gypsy Oasis Collection, an exquisite collection for the wandering soul. The collection was inspired by the ornamental traditions of the ancient Ottoman empire, combined with the free spirit of the gypsy soul. With the Gypsy Oasis Collection, you can turn any corner of your home into your own bohemian escapade and let the OBEETEE rug transport you to where you’re most content. As an extension to this, OBEETEE created the concept of Create Your Own Oasis, a candid series where established interior designers used OBEETEE rugs to create their own definition of an oasis.

This innovative campaign was commenced with a series of shoots in Mumbai with designers Rittika Ariyona, Nishita Kamdar, Meghna Manik, and Tejasee Mangwani. The interior designers were introduced to the Gypsy Oasis collection and provided a bank of bohemian props to help them create their oasis. Their creative process was captured and is set to be released on OBEETEE’s social media handles. Each unique setup created by the designers was named after them and will be available on the online store for purchase.

Speaking about the series, Interior Designer Nishita Kamdar, said, “An oasis for me is finding peace within chaos. Whether it is in my home or office space, I love to sit on the floor and find comfort and solace in the little things. We have come a long way from carpets merely being centre pieces.  They are now crucial parts of homes and we follow that in our design ideology as well. The Gypsy Oasis collection by Obeetee has beautiful colors and lovely textures. I had a great time playing around with this beautiful collection and creating my definition of a perfect oasis.” 

Owing to the overwhelming success of the first leg of the Create Your Own Oasis series, OBEETEE has expanded this to be a year-long series that will feature 12 different episodes throughout the year. The first set of episodes from the Mumbai set will be launched gradually starting from April 19^th, 2022, available on all OBEETEE social media channels.  

The next set of shoots for the series is lined up for May in New Delhi with renowned designers such as Shalini Ganguli, Shruti Sodhi and more. OBEETEE constantly paves new paths in the interior décor space in the nation and this series is set to help them make strides for the same. Mark your calendars for the first episode this April 19^th.
