Creative Abby 2011: Shortlists for 6 more categories announced

The shortlisted entries for Creative Abby 2011 in six more categories have been announced. The categories being Integrated Advertising, Ambient Media, Out-of-Home, Design, Radio and Radio Craft categories.

In the Out-of-Home category Mudra leads with the 89 shortlisted which includes campaign for Volkswagen, Philips, The Economic Times, Henko, Real Good Chicken and Getty Images, among others.

McCann Erickson is next with 65 shortlists that include campaigns for Happydent, Chloromint, Dish TV, Onida, Videocon and Western Union.

Ogilvy India has 58 shortlisted entries in the category, followed by Bates 141, Contract Advertising, Leo Burnett India, Grey and JWT with 49, 31, 26, 25 and 24 shortlisted entries respectively. Followed by ideas@work with 20 shortlists, whereas Out of the Box, Euro RSCG and Rediffusion Y&R have around 14, 10 and 8 shortlists respectively.

Creativeland Asia, Cheil Worldwide, Draftfcb Ulka and Parag Shahane Design have three shortlisted entries each; Meridian, Sorento Healthcare Communications and Rubecon Communications have two shortlists each, while Happy Creative Services, Quadrant Communications, Asatsu-DK Fortune Communications, Beehive Communications and Onads Communications with one shortlisted entry each.

In the Ambient category, Ogilvy India is at the top with the nighest number of shortlisted entries which is 18 entries. The shortlisted entries include campaigns for Vodafone, Yahoo! Mail, Indian Railways, Fosters and Bingo Premium Salted Chips among.

Mudra has 14 shortlists in the category with campaigns for Cancer Patients Aid Association, HBO, Volkswagen and Big Bazaar. Followed by McCann Erickson with 12 shortlisted entries, Grey and Leo Burnett have 6 shortlisted entries each whereas JWT has 4 shortlists. Creativeland Asia, Interface Communications, Bates 141, Dialog Factory, and 1Pointsize have 2 shortlists each.

In the Design category Leo Burnett leads with 16 shortlisted entries with campaign that includes the most talked about Gandhi font. Mudra is next with 6 shortlists and Ogilvy, ideas@work and Rediffusion Y&R have 5 shortlisted entries each.

Bates 141, The Flagship Advertising, JWT, Contract Advertising and Grandmother India Design have 3 shortlists each, wheras Dentsu Marcom, McCann Erickson, Out of the Box, Grey, Tailor, and Fitch have 2 shortlisted entries each, and Happy Creative Services, Dentsu Communications, Palasa Creative Place, and Fingerprints have one shortlisted entry each.

In the Integrated category Ogilvy again leads with 5 shortlisted entries and includes campaigns for Vodafone, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and Portfolio Night 8.

McCann Erickson has two shortlisted entries whereas Creativeland Asia, Contract Advertising, ideas@work, Leo Burnett, Mudra, Bates 141 and Grey have one shortlisted entry each. Bennett, Coleman & Co also features in the list with the Aman Ki Asha campaign.

Mudra leads in the Radio category with 21 shortlists, which includes campaigns for Reliance Mutual Fund, Gulf Oil, Moov and Big Bazaar among others.

Followed by McCann Erickson, Leo Burnett India and Ogilvy India with 19, 13 and 10 shortlisted entries respectively. Creativeland Asia and Contract Advertising are next with 5 shortlists each, Draftfcb Ulka and Grey have 3 shortlisted entries each. Rediffusion Y&R, JWT, Bates 141, and Interface Communications have 2 shortlists each, and Euro RSCG and Meridian have one shortlisted entry each.

In the Radio Craft category Lingo India leads with seven shortlists including campaign for Bajaj Exhaust Fans and Gandhijifont.com among others. Followed by Menwhopause with 2 shortlists, and 92.7 Big FM with one entry. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
