Curry Nation bags Rasna's creative account
Piruz Khambatta told us that recently in November the account was given to Curry Nation. Telling us about the reason behind choosing Curry Nation, said, "Firstly, Curry Nation has done good work with Indian clients. Secondly, the market scenario is changing. It is shifting from bigger agencies to smaller agencies as they give a proper attention and I personally feel that when you are young you would want to grow and when you grow you are ready to put that extra effort and honestly, today we are not getting that extra effort from bigger agencies and that is why this shift is happening. If you see now companies are shifting from big names to smaller ones."
Commenting on their association with Rasna, Nair said, "I think all of us have been associated with Rasna as we grew up. It is a brand that is etched in our minds as children. The excitement at every flavor that got launched and they want for it is something we still remember."
She adds, "So with this as the context we really wanted to get this legendary Indian brand with us."
When asked what was the unique step that made them win this account Nair told us that they went into the presentation with research. They met consumers and also did their very IND-sights filter essentially looking at insights with the Indian lens. She says, "So I think it was a combination of our homework and our hunger and passion for the brand Rasna."
Khambatta told us that they are coming with two new TVCs wihich will created by Curry Nation. One is featuring Genelia and Avan, Khambatta's daughter where they are showing celebrations and the other one is with the versatile Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag and a kid playing cricket.
