Dainik Bhaskar brought forth its 1st instalment of Financial Inclusion 2012

Dainik Bhaskar brought forth its first instalment of Financial Inclusion 2012, in line with the Indian Government’s focus on inclusive growth on August 29th at Le Meridien, New Delhi.
 
Financial inclusion or inclusive financing is the delivery of financial services at affordable costs to sections of disadvantaged and low income segments of society. ‘Dainik Bhaskar Financial Inclusion Conclave 2012’ is aimed at bringing together the various stakeholders such as policy makers, financial stalwarts, financial institutions, banking and non-banking organisations, IT & technology
providers, and social activists to find ways and means of strengthening the country`s financial inclusion process and achieve the dream of ‘Reaching out to the Unreached’. The conclave covered a vast array of topics including Profitable Banking in Financial Inclusion, Celebrating Rural Entrepreneurship and Business Opportunities and Financial Literacy for Investor protection thereby being relevant to the banks, investors as well as those deprived of the financial facilities.
 
The event was inaugurated by V. Sathyakumar, Excutive Director (Micro Insurance), LIC of India and valedictory address by Shri. Sachin Pilot, Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications  and IT. The event also had eminent speakers like Shri. R. Rameshan, MD & CEO, NCDEX; Dr C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister amongst many others.
