DAVP relaxes deadline for newspapers to submit monthy issues for April 2020

The Bureau of Circulation (BOC) has issued a notice to print publications that are empanelled with Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) relaxing the date for submission of issues for the month April 2020 from 1 May to 15 May in view of the nation wide lockdown owing to Covid-19.

The circular states that no publication will be blocked under regularity in the duration of the lockdown. However, if empanelled newspapers fail to submit the monthly copies to the DAVP on or before 15 May then government advertisements shall be stopped on that newspaper.
