DB Group's Kotnala quits; will go independent with P1P2SOLUTIONS!

In a noteworthy industry movement, Sanjeev Kotnala, the current VP and National Head -MARCOM, Dianik Bhaskar Group has put in his paper at the group. Ending a 10 year stint with the DB Group, Kotnala's next move is to go independent.

Confirming the news to Adgully he said, "I am starting a new chapter in my life. During the years there have been learning experiences at every turn. The constant support and encouragement I received from everyone has ensured that I was in many ways able to perform responsibilities assigned to me.  In these years I have grown personally and professionally. I find this to be the time for a new challenge and experience".

He stated that  he is starting a new chapter in his career with lot of dreams and a small initiative P1P2SOLUTIONS. "It works on the basic understanding that Individual and organisations have a host of problem and mostly the solution lies with the internal team and management. My proposition is to help arrive at the 2 most important problems PRIORITY 1 & 2 to be addressed. Try getting the solution internally or bring in expert in the domain as desired and help arrive at the solution", he informed.

Kotnala holds a rich and varied professional experience behind him, having worked with some of the biggest names in the media and advertising industry. At Bhaskar he is responsible for the newspaper brands and has worked on DNA and MYFM (Launch Phases). Prior to joining The Dainik Bhaskar Group, Sanjeev for 17 years worked with JWT, Lowe Lintas, Mudra Communications and TBWA Anthem.

In his advertising career, Kotnala has been associated with brands like Citibank, Motorola, ITC Welcomegroup, Hero Honda, Yamaha, Dainik Jagran, MTNL, Maruti, Oriental Insurance etc. An alumnus of India Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, he loves writing stories and painting.
