Dear Lotteries new TVC “Free Home Delivery” is all set to change the lottery experience

The Coronavirus pandemic has altered our world if not changed it completely. A nation-wide lockdown was imposed for months. People were confined to their home. Even now, when the restrictions are somewhat relaxed, people would surely think twice before venturing out. Though the supply of daily essentials never really faced major hiccups, the operation of the non-essential goods and services may still take some time to resume fully.

Sensing the need of the hour, Dear Lotteries a product of Nagaland & Sikkim Government has announced a unique offering for its customers. That is, the ‘Free Home Delivery’ of its lottery tickets. As it would still be a little difficult for the markets to fully open up, this move by Dear Lottery will help its consumers to avail services from the confines of their own homes.

In this tongue-in-cheek creative, we see a husband, who is lazing around in his house watching TV, gets scolded by his wife for his lethargy. Harrowed by the lockdown blues, the wife mocks the husband as if he was going to win a lottery prize. Just then the door bells rings. As the wife opens the door, she is pleasantly surprised to find a Dear Lotteries delivery man standing there holding a lottery ticket in his hand, asking for her husband.

Santosh Gupta, Chief Creative Officer at halfglassfull, said, “When we received the brief we got excited immediately since the offering was quite unheard-of in the Lottery category. You say home delivery and people think of food or groceries or clothing etc, but no one thinks of lottery tickets. We also wanted to keep the message simple yet entertaining for our target audience, so they get motivated to give the missed call and order their ticket of hope.”

The creative team comprised of Director Santosh Gupta, DOP Sunil Pillai along with Mayak K, Siddesh Parab, Aashna Gurav. Production was handled by Bubble with Producer Aarti Notiyal and Line producer Nitisha Rai. The fun and endearing music was taken care of Sharad Joshi with Manish Girish Namdeo on DI and Editing and Ashish Girish Namdeo on VFX and Motion Graphics
