Deepika Padukone kick starts Vogue's spring-summer 2015 campaign!

Vogue Eyewear launches its new communication campaign for spring-summer 2015 with three glamorous international muses: the Brazilian model Adriana Lima, the Indian actress Deepika Padukone and the Chinese actress Liu Shishi. The faces of the new campaign belong to three women known for their contemporary style and ability to marry hard graft and glamour, work and private life, character and lightness. The campaign, which will be launched internationally, speaks to the young, curious and lively women of today’s society. The images convey a message of glamour and freshness, of style and creativity, truly reflecting the essence of Vogue Eyewear.

This campaign marks Adriana Lima’s first appearance with Vogue Eyewear. Young actresses Deepika Padukone and Liu Shishi first starred in 2013, and have now 

become true testimonials and faces of an international campaign. The Vogue Eyewear glasses that feature in the campaign were specifically chosen by the beautiful muses themselves; as a result, every photograph reflects their personalities and their own ways of wearing glasses.


The Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is appreciated for her fashion choices and very distinctive style statements. She has established a successful career in films, and is cited as one of the most popular and attractive Indian celebrities. She is often referred to as an epitome of grace and timeless beauty, her mesmerizing persona embodies the many facets of the Vogue Eyewear Woman. In this campaign, Vogue Eyewear was keen to capture the many sides of her personality through a number of shots and a variety of glasses. The result is a collection of wonderful, unique images that are a perfect reflection of the Vogue Eyewear world.

Different personalities and different styles, but all equally precious and important.” The Deepika Padukone campaign, set in Goa in India – a very popular holiday destination known for its spirit, endless stretch of sea & sand and beautiful beaches, was shot by Ellen von Unwerth, known for photographing the world’s most beautiful women. The campaign – an expression of tropical spirit – is made up of six images in which Deepika wears three pairs of Vogue Eyewear sunglasses and three of optical frames.
