Delhi Film Policy 2022 approved by Government

The Arvind Kejriwal administration adopted the Delhi Film Policy, 2022 on Thursday, which aims to promote the city as a shooting and other production centre by providing a subsidy of up to Rs 3 crore and holding an international film festival.
In a news conference, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced that a Delhi Cabinet meeting headed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also authorised the establishment of the country's first e-waste management park on a 20-acre plot of land in Delhi.
According to him, the new film policy would be inclusive in nature, focusing on the development of the tourism industry, economic growth, and job creation.
