Delhi’s iconic cinema, Odeon at Connaught Place, is now Odeon INOX

India's leading multiplex chain, INOX Leisure Ltd (INOX), today announced that the iconic Odeon Cinema atheritage Odeon Complex at D - Block, Connaught Place, New Delhi, would now operate as Odeon INOX. The multiplex has 2 impressively designed auditoria with a total of 592 seats, including 60 comfortable sofa seats. With this inauguration, INOX now operates 18 multiplexes with 68 screens in Delhi-NCR. The distinguished cinema building, which came into existence in 1939, has been voted as one of “50 Iconic buildings in New Delhi”.

Both the screens in the multiplex are soaked in comfort and are equipped with the best-in-class cinema technologies for sound and projection. One of the auditoriums offers a great sound experience from the Dolby Atmos surround sound system for guests to enjoy a thunderous feel. The immersive ambience of auditoria compliments the vibrant 3D view, which is powered by Levision 3D solution. The multiplex boasts of white and gold minimalistic Turkish interiors with a luxe chandelier, surrounded by marron themed seating areas, which merge elegantly with the state-of-the-art facilities. The F&B concession counter would serve a range of flavoured popcorns, sandwiches, nachos, pizzas and burgers apart from hot and cold beverages. INOX patrons will also be able to enjoy these gourmet food options within the comfort of their homes by ordering them through food ordering platforms like Swiggy and Zomato.

INOX has recently opened a 5-screen multiplex with 216 luxurious Insignia seats at Rcube Monad Mall at Rajouri Garden, Delhi. With the addition of Odeon INOX, INOX now operates 18 cinemas with 68 screens in the Delhi-NCR region. Nationally, INOX now operates 170 multiplexes spanning 722 screens across 74 cities in the country.
