Dentsu’s OOH businesses in India to be aligned into Amplifi

With the departure of Haresh Nayak, President, Posterscope APAC and COO, Dentsu International, the group’s OOH businesses in India will be aligned into Amplifi, its supply-side management platform, under the leadership of Divya Karani, CEO, Media India.

As reported earlier, Nayak is the latest departure in the series of exits seen at Dentsu in the last few days. His exit comes close on the heels of Sahil Arora and Euan Jarvie stepping down at Dentsu.

When approached by Adgully, a Dentsu spokesperson said, “To stay ahead of the growth opportunities and potential we see for our clients and our teams we are accelerating into dentsu India 2.0. This is crucial to realising our global ambition of becoming the most integrated network in the world, simplifying and transforming our business to deliver greater agility, speed to market, and increased value to our clients. As part of this transformation, our OOH businesses will be aligned into Amplifi, our supply-side management platform, under the leadership of Divya Karani, CEO, Media India, following the departure of Haresh Nayak.”

Nayak, who had joined Dentsu in 2008 as Managing Director, Regional Director, Posterscope Asia Pacific, has been heading the Operations under Dentsu International for Posterscope (OOH), Brandscope (OOH), Ambient OOH, Hyperspace (Shoppers & Rural marketing), InDeed (CSR Advisory), Indeed (Smart city) & Story Lab (Content, Celebrity & Sports Management). As COO, Dentsu International - Media brands, Nayak has been taking care of the operational excellence around media business.
