Devraj Sanyal elevated to Chairman and CEO of Universal Music India & SA

Univers Music India & South Asia has appointed Devraj Sanyal as its Chairman and CEO. Previously, Sanyal was the MD and CEO of Universal Music India and South Asia. He now serves as The AMEA's SVP of strategy in addition to his other responsibilities (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa).
Since 2011, he has been with Universal Music India. Prior to that, he served as Group CEO of Percept Sports & Entertainment, a company that has divisions for music, events, television, intellectual assets, branded content & entertainment, and talent management. Along with Percept Ltd., Sanyal co-founded the well-known Asian electronic music festival Sunburn.
