Digital marketing needs more professionals to grow forward: Maheshwer Peri

“At a time when marketing budgets are increasingly shifting to digital platforms and it has become imperative for marketers to create an impact while delivering the best ROI, DIGIXX can play the right role of recognising talent that measures up to both the parameters,” says Maheshwer Peri, Founder of Pathfinder Publishing. Peri is part of the esteemed Jury panel for the inaugural edition of DIGIXX Awards.

The DIGIXX Awards have been initiated by Adgully in association with ad:tech. DIGIXX will honour and recognise the best of the best in Digital Marketing and Advertising across various categories and strives to be a differentiated property, helmed by a jury of industry leaders. DIGIXX aims to be the platform to acknowledge the real achievers, who have done remarkable work this year.

Entries for the Awards are currently open, however the last date for submission – January 31, 2017 – is approaching fast. So, send in your entries today.

Peri further said, “ROI can be an evil beast that can harm the industry if not nurtured well. The increasing leverage on data and analysis, targets and audiences, understanding various ROI models for digital advertising, getting a grasp of the creatives that work on digital advertising has become very important. While the digital platform is being increasingly favoured for its transparency, accountability and ROI, we have very few people who understand and use the platform with an understanding of all its nuances.”

According to him, “Digital marketing needs more professionals to grow forward and we need few beacons of light that can create, educate and lead the thousands. There is a desperate scarcity of digital marketers who are innovators and leaders too. I am hoping DIGIXX can throw its might in searching and rewarding the right talent that can motivate many others to unlearn, learn and extract the best out of digital platforms.”
