Digital Media loses a leader, Anurag Gupta SVG Media passes away

Anurag Gupta, CEO of SVG Media(a Dentsu Aegis Network company) passed away today morning due to a cardiac attack in Delhi. The demise has shocked the Indian Digital Media Industry. 

“It’s an absolute shock and a deep loss. Not only was he the CEO of SVG but was also a Digital Council Member. It is a loss for SVG, for DAN and for the entire Digital fraternity at large. A wonderful colleague. At this hour, my heart, sympathies and condolences go out to his family and loved ones.” Ashish Bhasin, CEO Greater South, Dentsu Aegis Network and Chairman & CEO India said in his statement.

In April 2017, he became part of Dentsu Aegis Network after the Dentsu’s accession of SVG Media that has leading brands like Tyroo, DGM, nNext and Precision Match.

He has 20 years of experience across diverse industries – FMCG, Office Automation, Stock Broking, Media and Internet and has been in the Internet space for over 10 years. He was also a part of the leadership team at Mediaturf, Times Internet, and many others.
