DIGIXX 2017 to put spotlight on campaigns, videos, content, social media

From recognising the best in the digital industry to highlighting remarkable campaigns, DIGIXX Awards 2017 is here to tell you some untold stories and honouring talent across various sectors. Barely 9 days remain to send in your entries for the first ever DIGIXX Awards. Rush in your entries before the closing date of January 31, 2017. 

The DIGIXX Awards recognises and celebrates the best of the best in digital marketing that creates an exceptional user experience that is moving, deeply engaging and interactive. The winning work ultimately serves to educate the marketplace about what works and why in digital advertising, as well as inspire the community by pointing to future trends and where the industry is heading. 

The Awards categories have been broadly divided into three major groups – Industry Sector Awards, Discipline Awards for Campaign and Special Awards.

Discipline Awards for Campaigns cover 17 sub-categories. The idea is to include all the sectors so that ‘real achievers’ from each sector are felicitated. 

Some great scholars of Indian marketing community have observed that Content Marketing is a core ingredient for brand awareness and 53 per cent say that it helps in attracting and retaining customers. Therefore, not missing out on the content marketing geniuses, we present to you our Content Marketing sub-category to recognising the best brand use of content across all disciplines including, video, mobile and online. Content marketing sees brands use content to engage their target consumers, which drives a better level of interaction with the brand, encourages more purchases, enhances loyalty and other vital organisational aims. 

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yahoo...the list goes on. We are talking about our Social Media sub-category, which will recognise excellence in brands’ social media efforts. Whether it is community management or sharing a campaign, whether paid-for Facebook posts or reactive tweets, this award will recognise the best use of social media by brands. 

Given the growing importance of video in brand communication, videos find a special place in our awards categories. To recognise excellence in use of video, whether for advertising campaigns, content marketing, social or other digital marketing initiatives, we have included Video sub-category in the Discipline Awards for Campaigns. 

With an intention to recognise excellence in branded events and experiences that took place in the digital space or on ground, DIGIXX 2017 will have the experiential and events award. Whether it is festivals, a one-off branded event, major exhibition or ongoing experiential activity, this is the award for it. 

The DIGIXX Awards 2017 screening committee – comprising senior marketing and media professionals – will evaluate and score each submission. Every entry is evaluated by multiple committee members to ensure an accurate, thorough review. The top five entries with the highest scores will be selected Finalists for each category.
